Ed Sheeran is crowned music's king of the decade as he scoops the Official Chart Record Breaker award for most No 1 hits on the singles and albums charts since 2010
He's already been crowned the world's top-earning solo artist with an astonishing income of £65,000 a day.
Now pop star Ed Sheeran, 28, has another award for his mantelpiece – he is Britain's No 1 artist of the decade.
His 'Official Chart Record Breaker' award is for the most No 1 hits (12 in total) on the singles and albums charts from 2010 to 2019 and the most weeks at No 1 (79, which adds up to more than a year and a half at the top).

Ed Sheeran, 28, has won the 'Official Chart Record Breaker' award for the most No 1 hits (12 in total) on the singles and albums charts from 2010 to 2019 and the most weeks at No 1
Sheeran's hit Shape of You was named biggest song of the decade after spending 14 weeks at No 1 in 2017 with more than 4.5million sales, and two more of his songs – Thinking Out Loud and Perfect – are in the decade's top five.
Earlier recipients of record breaker awards from the Official Charts Company, which compiles the lists for BBC Radio 1 and MTV, include Justin Bieber, who was the first act to hold the top three singles chart places at once.
Martin Talbot, chief executive, said: 'Ed truly has dominated this decade and is a worthy recipient.
'At the start of the decade he was a little known (albeit highly rated) young 18-year-old lad from Suffolk, but his catalogue of achievements since then are genuinely remarkable.
