We have such a diverse and wonderful representation of actors, broadcasters, singers, musicians and dancers in the Philadelphia Local.  Our region is as eclectic as it is vast in geographical coverage, spanning southeastern Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey, the Jersey Shore and Delaware. Having such a rich and diverse area, from historical buildings to sandy beaches, attracts film, TV and musical projects and keeps them coming back to our region. We have a deep talent pool of professional members ready to work in this culturally rich land that we call home. Our geography is also rich in history and rooted in the founding of America itself.

Besides helping to bring entertainment-related work to our area, your SAG-AFTRA Philadelphia Local is proud to provide many services to its members, such as professional advice, conservatory workshops and financial planning seminars. We also enjoy member meetings and events that help us to build a network of industry professionals like no other. This is a unique local where we get to know each other and then stay in the know together with our creative community for years to come.

The pandemic has challenged us in many ways and stretched us thin on resources, but not on persistence or determination. As a SAG-AFTRA member, there are many ways for you to participate. We urge you to read our emails containing news, events and career development opportunities.  We are member driven and ready to welcome you. As we come out of this time, It becomes more important to connect now more than ever. We are very much here for you to discuss union-related issues and topics in our local. We may not always know what lies ahead, but we are better together.  Always.
