Report Child Abuse or Neglect

Report suspected child abuse or neglect at 858-560-2191 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

When we get a report, a social worker evaluates the report to determine if the child is at risk. The risk factors you report help us decide if we investigate and if so, how soon we investigate The investigation could be within 24 hours,10 days, or simply a referral to a community agency without an investigation.

If you:

• are concerned about a child’s safety,
• are a parent afraid you may harm your child,
• are a child or youth who believes you are being abused, call the Hotline. We can provide resources for additional help.
