The customer service person was polite…

The customer service person was polite and even though the price was higher my son recommended them. So, I felt good about giving them a try if I need service anytime in the immediate future.

Impressed

I was interested in your company after receiving an email. Talked with Renae Adams. She could tell I was a bit hesitant.
She explained the coverages, how claims were handled, price, deductible etc. The coverages and price were less than what I had with my utility company. I was looking because I had an issue with a claim. I was comfortable signing up as I had 31 days to review policy and cancel if I wanted to. To cancel later on it would only cost $25. Anxious to get policy.
She told me that the company had been around for 45 years and changed names to Cinch.

This place sucks even worse than I thought

This place sucks. Total scam! I call every year for the same problem and they put a bandaid on it and keep charging a deductible. If they don’t fix it this time, I am canceling! This CEO has to create a better vision for these incompetent souls.

Update: Their offshore agent lied to me about my appointment date, refused to let me talk to a manager (no escalation path), and refused to let me speak to an onshore agent. This company is awful and I can’t wait to cancel. I’m also writing the CEO! Do not use this company!!!!!!!

We guarantee our providers work for 180 days so that if the repairs are unsuccessful, you would not pay another service fee for the same issue should it occur within a 6-month timeframe. Discusting

Update: Finally after writing this review and reviewing them on other sites they approved the replacement within 3 days. Its insane that I had to go through all this to get the work done, we had a bunch of days where it was over 100 degrees w/o the AC and nothing from cinch.

Stay the hell away, my AC has been broken for 5 weeks, they sent out 2 contractors to look at it. Both said the system needs to be replaced and cinch is not approving or declining the claim. I call them every business day the agents tell me to please be patient and they're making my case a priority but so far nothing. Its close to 100 degrees here. I've been a paying customer for 10 years this has been a nightmare.

The representative to whom we spoke was intelligent, easy to understand, and personable.

The representative to whom we spoke was very helpful, answered all of our questions, and made us feel comfortable with our investment in this home warranty.

I think these are fake reviews

I think these are fake reviews, Look at the other companies reviews and definitely look at YouTube. Use search words like the company name in question and scammers. Our A/C broke 07-14. It's now the 29th and they keep lying to us about fixing it. I would not recommending ANY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY. They're all probably running the same game on people. It's a shame, companies like that should be put out of business forever

Cinch is terrible

My local Sam’s had someone selling Cinch Home Services for a discount. I thought I would give them try. TERRIBLE DECISION! My air conditioning went out 3 days ago. I have been calling them and trying to get someone out. They either can’t get hold of anyone or have it sent to “dispatch” who only communicate through email. Still nothing set up. Sitting in the heat on July 3. They can’t get an appointment set up till end of July. Save your money and headaches. Everyone I speak has a foreign language accent, so probably just outsourcing to people in other countries to take the calls. Negative review if I could.

After having my refrigerator diagnosed…

After having my refrigerator diagnosed by a repair company I was told that the compressor needed to be replaced. After giving all the food in my refrigerator and freezers away and after eating out of a cooler for a whole week, I got a 2nd opinion and come to find out there wasn't anything wrong with my compressor, it just needed to be reset which I did but apparently I didn't do it long enough. After me calling for close to a week Brooklyn (Cinch Representative) came into the picture got the claim approved for repairs but by that time the refrigerator was back working just fine. I let Brooklyn know what had happened and that I'd follow up with her in a day or so with confirmation that my refrigerator was indeed fine. Well she called me today to check and see if the repair company had reached out to me to set an appt for the repair. I let her know that all was well with the refrigerator so no repairs was needed. I also suggested that she reach out to the repair company to let them know that their technician was lazy and misdiagnosed my refrigerator. She was awesome and took action after getting wind of the back and forth I was dealing with. So thank you Brooklyn for your superb customer service, there should be more like you. 👏🏾

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
We have been a paying customer for 10 years through Sears Home Warranty/Cinch. We have the whole home warranty ($76.99/month) to include our HVAC system. Our air conditioner died and I filed a claim on June 19th 2024 - it is now July 9th and we still do not have a new unit and no one can tell me WHEN we will. Our local provider has not recieved the parts from SHW/Cinch and customer service cannot tell me when they will. So my family is living/sleeping in our basement. I know this is a first world problem, but when you pay for a warrantly (over $9k in 10 years) you expect services to be rendered for payment. Or at the very least, reimbursed so we can buy our own AC and have it installed.
We will be cancelling our warranty and I will NEVER recommend SHW/Cinch to anyone!

One year cost are what a normal appliance cost to replace. Recommend put that monthly payment in the bank and save for the day you need it.

Beginning in March 2024 I experienced a water leak in my Bosch Dish Washer. As a Sears Home Warranty customer for five years, I placed a claim to get my Dish Washer repaired. Three Months, eight service calls and three different technicians. still my dishwasher has not been repaird or replaced. Technicians have given up and called twice stating washer needs replaced. To assist my wife in her pain management, and after three months I had to turn to a replacement unit of which I paid for out of my pocket. After paying Cinch Home services $1000.00. Really!!!!

Horrible customer service and the runaround

Our a/c went out. We filed a claim and they told us to find our own repair company. We found one and they said the unit needed to be replaced. We submitted the estimates but are waiting and waiting and waiting for a response. When you call in they just give you the run around and say they can not communicate with the people who are reviewing the claims, which is ludicrous!

First time home & home warranty buyer

I have been looking at so many different companies to get a home warranty after buying my first home to find the best company with the best price and the best coverage. As soon as I found Cinch I knew right away this is who I was going to choose. Their monthly prices are amazing and they cover more than any other company out there. Not to mention their deductible, even at its highest, is very reasonable. So I knew right away Cinch was the one and I purchased their highest plan in a heartbeat. I’m so glad I heard about them and chose to go with them. The process was easy and straight forward and they explained everything as to when it would start and what to expect during the purchase process. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Nice Buying Experience - No pressure

I had a very good overview with the representative, Shannon Lee. I was evaluating about 10 home warranty insurance companies. Cinch was slightly more expense, but I decided to go with Cinch because I felt their customer support will be best.
I hope to be correct.

Air conditioning has been broken for…

Air conditioning has been broken for over 4 months now. I put my claim in on March 9th 2024 and they have been out 4 times still do not have working ac why do I pay all this money towards a home warranty that literally
Does absolutely nothing. Get the run around when I call. Do not recommend cinch at all.
