I have had a terrible experience with…

I have had a terrible experience with this company. They have terrible customer service and do not care if you cancel. I have many appliances with them. I have a dishwasher that I have spent so much money on because it constantly needs to be repaired. They send a 3rd party company that constantly puts a band aid on it and never truly fixes it. I have spent more in deductible fees than the machine is actually worth. They would rather lose me as a customer than replace the one machine. Terrible company. Trrrible customer service

I asked to go with the more expensive…

I asked to go with the more expensive plan to cover my on demand hot water heater. After a lengthy discussion with your agent, she said I would have to wait and change it from the less expensive option she had set up after a month. I talked to a couple of other agents later and they couldn’t change it either. Very frustrating experience

Do not buy their product they do not stand with timely repair

So I’ve had since for about eight months and I needed them during 100° weather to come and look at my AC unit and they set me up with someone who can’t come until Tuesday three days later wouldn’t budge on it and see if they could get another provider it’s 100° outside. That is outrageous. We have thousands of places in town I live in Tulsa Oklahoma. This makes no sense. Do not buy their product. They absolutely do not care about you. They just want your money. Do not repeat. Do not buy their product.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

4 months and 8 parts later and my dishwasher is still not working properly!!! The dishwasher was more or less completely rebuilt one part at a time over 4 months! Had to make sure someone was home every time they sent out a tech with yet another part!! The last tech told me I needed a new dishwasher...
When I contacted Cinch I was told that my account had lapsed and I no longer was covered! They sent me a check for $150 as "settlement" for the dishwasher!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! Cinch apparently does not honor their contractural commitment to "replace if they cannot fix it"!!! Tech told me "Cinch NEVER replaces with a new appliance...only parts after parts after parts!!! They are in breach of their own contract!!

my service date was 6/19

my service date was 6/19. person came out and concluded that my washer was unfixable. as of today my washer has not been replaced. i have called and sent message and am told the same thing. that a review will take place and decision will be made. today is 7/6. still no new washing machine.

Great customer service

Great customer service, However, since it apparently takes so long to put on place after requesting it
I would have called to arrange weeks earlier in order to not have a lapse in insurance. Documents initially sent either did not indicate this or it was missed.

The customer service and the knowledge…

The customer service and the knowledge of agent Heather Tompkins. She provided information about the plan and its inclusive deals and services. Right away I was sold. Heather was very patient and listened attentively to all my questions, and concerns without interruptions. I had called various companies and spoken with their customer service agents, but never received the service and knowledge that was provided by Cinch Home Services. This is my 3rd Home Warranty Company

I have had bad experiences with two home warranty companies. I choose Cinch because it is affiliated with Progressive. I don’t like the large deductible, however I will give your company a chance. When I am in need of service I will judge you on your response and service.

Been going through AC issues since 19…

Been going through AC issues since 19 April 2024 when claim was made. Evaporator has a leak. Remove and replace, right? Nope, no one on either side knows where this part is. Order placed the 26th. There is zero tracking on this. Paid my deductible only to be hit with a $2k+ extra bill that was paid immediately and still no action. Wife has bad allergies and the humidity has us worried about mold now.

Communication needs work

My initial contact with Cinch was awesome! The representative was great at thoroughly explaining everything and answering my many questions. The problem comes in with the customer service and communication. I had an open service ticket; I receive an email to contact customer service to find out more about what was going on per the email. The representative was not very friendly or helpful as I was tryung to understand my options since the email was very vague. All the representative kept telling me all the information was in my email (the one I had not received). I thanked her and got off the phone. I received the referenced email and selected buyout. The email gave a confirmation giving the amount I'd receive and dates. 7 days later, no check, nothing. I call again & the representative didn't listen to a thing I said about my selecting the option via email, he just kept telling me my options, confirming that my online option was completely pointless.

Cinch does not want to pay out!

My AC unit went out 7 weeks ago and we are still fighting Cinch on approving a replacements. They continue to fight THEIR approved contractor on pricing & needs. And I still do not have AC.
I have always paid my monthly service fee of $76.99 (for 8 years) but they are not holding up their end of the deal!

Came highly recommend

I initiated the process on line then back d out. A few hours later I was able to complete it. Then at 1am I received an email stating to complete the process and there was a 2 month free offer. I received several emails and many calls. When I called back I ask d about he promotion they said I did not qualify. I didn’t understand why. However, cinch was a referral. They spoke very highly of the company and their services.

Appliance Claim

When I initially filed a claim a service technician was assigned. I was told to call them to schedule an appointment. After a week with no response, Cinch customer service informed me that the company did not service my area. Another service provider was assigned and an appointment was immediately made. Two days later the appointment date was changed to a date that was 2 weeks later. After calling in I was told the appointment was changed because the service provider had to order parts (at this point no one has come to my home to assess the appliance). The day of the appointment comes, I wait for the 4 hour window and no one arrives. I call customer service and I am told one of the parts is on backorder with no expected date of arrival. I asked what the next step would be for my appliance and I am instructed to wait for the backordered part. At this time I asked for a replacement appliance but was told I would have to wait at least another 2 weeks for the part before that could be done. This would mean over month without the appliance. The same day we reached out to Cinch online and received a call from customer service support who immediately offered a replacement because the backordered part was no longer available. I do appreciate that this was done so quickly after reaching out. The one improvement that can be made is to make sure you communicate with the customer changes and take the appropriate steps to resolve issues.

This is the worst company

This is the worst company, you have to deal with an automated system that will not let you talk to a person. My refrigerator quit working and because I have medicine that needs refrigeration they set me up as priority. 8 days later nothing has happened. I finally canceled my policy and bought a new refrigerator. After cancelling I’m still being billed.

Finally was able to talk with a person and refund and cancellation is being resolved.

Water heater was leaking

Water heater was leaking, we put in a claim with Cinch. After 48 hours we still hadn't heard from Cinch, called them and they said to find our own tech and they would reimburse us. While waiting we were without water all that time as we had to turn the water off. We got our own technician, even took a picture of the heater after it was removed. Claim was denied because we didn't take a picture before it was removed. We have cancelled with them and gone with a different company due to this incident.
