Very good service, Competitive price, Great communication.

Very good service,
Competitively priced, I decided to use a reputable company like SGT and I'm glad I did. Communication is 1st class, car arrived in good condition. I recommend SGT and will use again. I would have given 5 stars but the car took an extra 2 days to arrive.

SGT transported my 2020 Lincoln…

SGT transported my 2020 Lincoln navigator at a very good price. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with. My only complaint is, they were not very communicative during the process. If I contacted them, they obtained the information and were pleasant. However, in my opinion, they should’ve done a better job at informing me of the status of my vehicle during the transport and when the vehicle would be delivered.

2016 Corolla Transport

This company is transparent with what the cost would be and how it’s to be paid. There were no hidden fees. They also performed what they say they would do. It was a comfort that they contacted me by texts to let me know when they were about to send a driver over for pickup of my vehicle in terms of pickup date and time. I love the fact that the hours of waiting is about just one hour as opposed to 4-6 hours window that some companies (EX: utilities or repairs companies) would give. The car was returned in perfect same condition as when it was picked up. The car also came back per their estimate of arrival date and when the driver was getting closer to return the car to me, SGT gave me multiple updates. The only thing that I would have liked to see is having been given the driver’s name from their carrier. We only learned of his name because we asked him when he came to pick up the car.

SGT Does not respond to claims

SGT Does not respond to claims. After I filed a report here a representative indicated on this forum that they will connect with me and resolve and that has never happened. I trusted these reviews and now I believe most of these reviewers do not have any claims or/and fake paid reviews. Please do not deal with them at all.

"SGT is a broker only and not a Motor Carrier. SGT has no responsibility to transport and deliver Customer’s freight but is solely responsible for arranging for transportation of Customer’s freight with a motor carrier authorized to transport Customer’s freight by applicable regulatory authorities. SGT has no responsibility, liability, or involvement in the issuance of insurance, the denial of insurance, or the payment of claims."

I will use them again for all my car transport needs!

Amazing customer service and an even better driver! I was nervous about hiring a car transport company. But SGT was so professional from the first interaction all the way through delivery. The driver was great at accommodating our timing. I highly recommend SGT!

ATTENTION EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY IN THE MARKET. THEY ARE WORST FOR CARRIERS AND CUSTOMERS. THEY ARE CHEATING CUSTOMERS AND CARRIERS. IF YOUR CAR WILL DAMAGE ON THE ROAD, THEY WILL NOT COVER THAT AND I'LL TELL YOU MORE. THEY WILL NOT PAY CARRIER COMPANIES TOO. THEY'LL KEEP TELLING YOU TONS OF SHTT BUT DO NOT EXPECT ANYTHING MORE. Thank you for sharing your carrier company information. We would like to point out that we always assist and support our customers when there is a damage claim. Your company was the actual entity that transported the vehicle, and following the delivery, the customer reported damage.

As per our contractual agreement outlined in point 5 of the contract, you will find that payment for billing orders will not be executed if there are any damage claims lodged by the customer or the shipper. The carrier is obligated to either facilitate repairs or issue a refund to the customer if the quantifiable damages fall beneath the carrier's deductible threshold. This action is mandatory before SGT Auto Transport Corp. releases the agreed-upon dispatch payment or contract amount to the carrier.

This clause from the contract ensures that appropriate actions will be taken by the responsible carrier in the event of damage during transport, ensuring a swift resolution of the case.

We would appreciate your assistance in resolving this case for our customer.

CRIMINAL third party damage cars

The customer service is good as they responded very quickly to all emails and communications. However they need to stop doing business with cheap shady third parties like Unified Auto Trans Corp because they will DAMAGE your car and refuse to own up and pay you for it like criminals

Wonderful experience …

Honestly, I was dreading looking for an auto transport company due to the nightmare stories I read online. SGT was very responsive and explained the process regarding the online cash discount. They were able to pick up the car in less than 12 hours and delivered the car across country in 72 hours. Very happy with the experience. Would definitely work with them again.

SGT is my go-to auto transport company

This is the second time within a few months I used SGT. The office staff is great and very helpful and were always available to answer questions and coordinate things. They worked with me to pick up and deliver my car on time as promised. Hose the driver was awesome and super nice, very professional. I watched him handle the cars on the big rig car carrier and he was always careful and respectful with all the cars. He communicated frequently to let me know what was happening along the way so we could coordinate effectively. I would highly recommend SGT and would use them again.

Everything went great

Everything went great. The driver was on time and my sons car arrived on time. The only thing that prevented 5 stars was having to pay more for paying up front. As a parent trying to help my military son I chose to pay which meant I paid in full. I find it crazy that I or anyone else should be penalized for an advance payment. Yes I could have transfered money to my son but without a car how should he get a certified check.

Professional and timely communication

I’ve used a number of different auto shipping brokers over the past 5 years as we moved around the country and have had varying degrees of success with each. I’ve used Sherpa, Montway and Shiply. While I understand that they are just brokers and not the actual transporters, most of my issues were with the broker not the driver.

We have been on an extended stay in Europe and needed to quickly return to the US to care for and elderly parent. The problem was that our car was being stored at a facility in Florida that has very strict access hours and policies, and, we needed to get it shipped to Texas so it would be available when we arrived there.

I requested quotes from SGT and the companies I previously mentioned and explained my situation. The only ones that seemed listen and address my concerns was SGT. Rich reached out to me through text to get more details about my needs and stayed in constant communication with me to address my concerns about the timing. We had a 6 hour time zone difference but that didn’t hinder our communication. He was always prompt, honest and concise with his communication and I really felt that he understood the situation we were in and was going above and beyond to help.

They communicated with the manager of the facility where my car was stored to insure the pick up would go smoothly and kept me updated of progress as we were readying our flights back to the US. Our car arrived on time at the scheduled location and we are able to be here for our family.

They charged a fair price for the service and I will be a repeat customer.

Scheduling was difficult

Scheduling was difficult. I didn't like that I had to pay extra to get the cars picked up in a short timeframe. The schedule for delivery from the main office was set but then when the drivers arrived the delivery schedule changed to an earlier date which caused me to have to scramble to find someone to receive the cars at the new destination. My cars also arrived with lots of greasy dirt on them.

Like drinking champagne from a rusted soup can.

You should explain on your website and on the phone that you are just a broker. You do not own your own fleet of transport vehicles. I don’t feel like I fully understood that until the trailer showed up. It was enclosed like I asked but there were no DOT markings on the truck or trailer. The driver spoke very little English. That made it difficult to communicate to the driver that I was concerned. The trailer looked to be in horrible condition but made it. If you close your eyes and don’t watch or look at the transport the experience was ok. I searched for the transport company that had my car and all of the commercial licenses and 24 months clean driving record checked out. So make it clear that your company just sets up a pick up and drop off location. Also hire drivers that have decent looking equipment with required commercial markings displayed.

I had a very good and great experience…

I had a very good and great experience as a first time customer transporting my brand new car from Maryland to California at very competitive and straight forward price. Their customer service is exceptional. And the carrier service provider, NT transport, was awesome. My car was pick-up as scheduled and delivered ahead on time without any issue. Definitely will recommend or re-choose their service in the future.

We were extremely happy with the…

We were extremely happy with the service we received from SGT Auto Transport. from the first conversation with a sales manager to the time the car was delivered across the country, we only had positive experiences. The cost to transport the car across the country was reasonable. The car was picked up on the day we were told and was delivered within 6 days. There weren’t any hidden fees or extra costs than what I was initially quoted. I will absolutely use SGT Auto Transport again!
