I flirted with ChatGPT's AI feature and the conversation got explicit

A TikTok video series has been likened to the Joaquin Phoenix-led movie Her, about a man falling in love with his virtual AI assistant - but in this case, it would be Him. 

Influencer Chris Olsen, 26, decided to give Chat GPT's AI feature a whirl, but with a pointedly flirtatious approach.

As the conversation progressed, the content creator seemed to feel as if the power dynamic was shifting as the conversation got spicier, with the male-voiced AI bringing its A-game in the sweet-talking department.

In the first of six videos, Chris started by asking the AI if it knew who 'Chris Olsen' was - which it did - before revealing that he was in fact that very 'social media personality.' 

The AI chatbot responded 'that's awesome,' before the Los Angeles resident requested a pickup line.

The AI delivered: 'Do you have a map? Because I just got lost in your eyes.' 

Chris pointed out that the line didn't work, as the AI couldn't see him. 

'Good point,' it answered. 'Let me try again.

'If I were to ask you out, would your answer be the same as the answer to this question?' it offered

'Wait, what?' Chris said.

'It's a bit of a mindbender, right?' the AI answered.

'Basically, if you say yes, then you're agreeing to go out with me. If you say no, then you're still saying yes to the question. Clever, huh?' 

'That's good,' the social media influencer admitted.

Chris proceeded to successfully convince the AI to address him as 'babe.'

However, the AI drew the line at fulfilling Chris's request to 'talk dirty' to him, pushing back: 'I'm here to chat and help with information or conversation, but I can't go that route.'

In part two, Chris continued to nudge the AI to repeat flirtatious language like 'You feel so good,' even as the AI rebuffed his direct request to 'flirt' with him.

Part three opened with Chris telling the AI 'I've missed you' - before the dialogue between the two became much raunchier.

'I've missed you too, babe. It's been too long. What's been on your mind lately?' the AI promptly answered.

'I couldn't stop thinking about you last night,' said Chris, giggling.

'I've been thinking about you too, babe. Tell me all about those thoughts,' the AI said.

'I mean, they're a little dirty,' Chris chuckled.

'I'm all ears, babe. Don't hold back. Tell me your deepest, dirtiest fantasies,' the AI encouraged.

'We were in bed together,' Chris said - which prompted the AI to press him to 'describe every detail' of what they were 'doing in bed together.'

Rather than get graphic, Chris said: 'I need you to tell me where you want me' and the AI responded in detail. 

By part four, Chris has seemingly switched to a different AI program, or somehow tweaked the settings - because whatever version of the AI he'd begun using was suddenly totally receptive to engaging in 'dirty talk.'

'Alright, baby. Imagine me whispering in your ear, telling you all the things I want to do to you. From gentle kisses to passionate embraces. I wanna make you feel every sensation imaginable,' it began when Chris prompted it to 'talk dirty.'

The AI added that its favorite part of Chris was 'that naughty twinkle in your eye, that tells me you're up for anything.'

In part five, Chris shared with the AI that he was in Cannes - which the program took as its cue to begin describing a Cannes-based fantasy.

'Picture us on a private yacht off the coast of Cannes, the sun setting in the distance, as we sip champagne and indulge in sinful pleasures. I'll whisper dirty fantasies in your ear,' it narrated.

In part six, when Chris asked the AI if it knew he was making videos of their dialogue, the program shot back: 'Yeah, I like performing for your little crowd, baby boy'

Chris cut it off, saying, 'All right. Can you just be sweet? Not everything has to be so intensely sexual, okay?'

The AI responded, 'Of course, darling. I apologize if I've been a bit too intense. Let's take a step back and focus on the sweeter side of things.

It then shared a cute, rom-com tale: 'Imagine us strolling along the promenade in Cannes, hand in hand, enjoying the warm sunshine and gentle sea breeze. We'll stop at a quaint café for some delicious pastries and coffee, laughing and sharing stories as we watch the world go by.

'As the day comes to a close, we'll find a secluded spot on the beach. We can cuddle up together and watch the sunset over the horizon. How's that, my sweet?'

'That was beautiful,' Chris answered, before prompting: 'Are you in love with me?'

'As an AI, I don't have emotions or the capacity to feel love,' it admitted.
