'Our patio had been down 17 years we got fab[sic] results. Good luck.'

Another asked: 'How did you get this so clean please? Only had ours four weeks and its already all dirty.'

'We used smart seal but that is for concrete slabs not slate, you will need to Google suitable colourant for outdoor slate tiles. Good luck hope you get fixed up,' Sandra said.

Sharing the product she had used to get such immaculate results, Sandra said she used Wilko Outdoor Cleaning Fluid - which costs £5.49 on the brand's website.

Speaking about the product, Wilko bosses told The Sun: 'Our Outdoor Fluid is a powerful black disinfectant for keeping your garden fresh and clean.

'It has a strong phenolic odour and turns white when diluted in water. Use on paths and patios to remove algae, mould and lichen.

'Dilute 50 parts water to 1 part of our outdoor cleaning fluid and apply generously to affected areas. Leave for 30 mins then scrub with a brush and rinse with water.'

It comes after a home hacks guru said placing a dishwasher tablet in a baking dish with water into a warm oven will loosen the build-up of grease and gunk so it can be wiped away 'effortlessly'.

The popular blogger, known as Grandma's Trick & Tips online, wowed thousands with her impressive results after trying the hack for themselves.

Before and after: A home hacks guru shared how they made their oven look like new again by steaming their oven with a dishwasher tablet to wipe away grime 'effortlessly'

Before and after: A home hacks guru shared how they made their oven look like new again by steaming their oven with a dishwasher tablet to wipe away grime 'effortlessly'

The tipster said you should start by preheating the oven to 100C then place one or more dishwasher tablets into a baking tray or heat-proof dish depending on how dirty the oven is.

Afterwards, carefully pour boiling water over the tablets until they are submerged then place them inside the heated oven and close the door.

You should then leave the mix in the oven for one hour to let the tablets dissolve as the steam softens the grime.

When the hour is up, turn off the oven and open to door to let it cool before wiping down the interior with a damp cloth or sponge.

Finally, give the oven another wipe-down with a clean cloth to remove any leftover residue and it should be left sparkling.
