As she continues to take the world by storm with her chart-topping hits, like Please Please Please and Expresso, fans of the pop diva expressed shock to learn her aunt also has a wildly successful career in the entertainment industry. 

Although the Disney Channel alum has long maintained that she got discovered after placing third in the singing contest, The Next Miley Cyrus Project, in 2009, many social media users are pointing out she probably got a leg up as the niece of a voice-acting legend. 

To the internet's surprise, Carpenter's very famous relative also connects her to one of the world's most popular and profitable television franchises of all time.

While the duo have not been publicly photographed together for years, the Emmy winner, 66, brought her niece to various premieres during her early childhood. 

At the time, when Carpenter was just 12, Cartwright shared an adorable photo of them together, alongside Robin Williams, at a screening for Happy Feet 2 on Facebook. 

Over the years, Cartwright, who has an estimated net worth upward of $60 million, has also publicly shared support for Carpenter's career and attended a number of her shows.

In response to being asked if she's related to Cartwright, the Feather hitmaker revealed: '[She's] my dad's sister!'

'She's the voice of Bart Simpson, don't know if you've ever heard of him,' she mused. 'And, like, also 89 other characters on the Simpsons and a bunch of other shows and like Rufus and Kim Possible and Chuckie in the Rugrats like everything literally.'

Upon hearing the news, she took to social media to gush: 'MY FIRST #1 on the HOT 100!!!!!!! And espresso at #4.. I’m very immensely grateful so i will surely always remember this day for the rest of my life!' 

The note continued with her thanking collaborators Jack Antonoff, Amy Allen, and Laura Sisk.
