Earlier this year, Mick was forced to postpone his tour after undergoing a heart valve replacement surgery using a technique pioneered by Professor Alain Cribier.
The cutting-edge procedure allows surgeons to swap a patient's cardiac valves without resorting to open heart surgery and cracking open their chests.
Following the life-changing procedure Mick reassured fans he was recovering well and tweeted: 'I’m feeling much better now and on the mend.'
In his first interview following heart-surgery with Rolling Stone Magazine Mick said: 'I’m feeling pretty good.
'Been rehearsing a lot lately in the last few weeks … This morning [I did] a bit of gym. Nothing crazy. Then I go into rehearsal with the rest of the band.'

'His healthy eating has really helped with his recovery and he's been taking it easy and resting, as well as enjoying down time with his friends and family. The health scare has just reminded him to keep taking good care of himself.'
