Hi, it's Leigh-Anne,

and I'm gonna walk you through my skincare routine

and a quick date night look.

I'm gonna be using my purifying gel cleanser, two pumps.

I've been using this brand I'd say for like five years now,

but I think when you find something

that really works for you, it's kind of hard to turn back.

Active C and E peptides.

This is basically a vitamin C and an antioxidant.

I used to have really bad skin growing up.

I was trying loads of different products

and nothing really was working and I was on the X factor.

I was lucky enough to have somebody come in

to talk to us about our skin and help us

and from then I think

that was when my obsession with skin started.

I'm gonna put on my even tone brightening facial serum.

I had hyperpigmentation, my dermatologist recommended it.

It really has brightened up my face and evened out my skin.

I'm kind of obsessed with facials.

I feel like I probably get them done once a month.

I'm gonna put on my green fancy eye masks.

I am nonstop back-to-back promo in the States.

Jet lagged, tired.

Being a mum definitely is harder

to really look after myself and take time for myself,

especially my skincare routine,

'cause it is important, you know, self love

and looking after yourself,

'cause if you're not doing that then you're not gonna be

the best version of yourself for them any way.

Now that I'm getting ready to literally,

I'm launching my solo career and my single's out,

getting ready to do performances,

I really have to look after myself

and I'm notorious for talking a lot and shouting

and screaming and singing and being silly.

So yeah, that's all gotta come down.

The honey and water's coming out.

HydraLight facial moisturizer.

The SPF.

And I kind of pat it on as well

'cause I think you want it to kind of

still sit on the surface a bit.

Brightening eye cream today as well

just because I'm feeling a little bit tired.

Growing up we used a lot of cocoa butter

so I think I've got an obsession with

natural body butters, shea butter.

Island Organics body butter,

which I got from Turks and Caicos.

[gentle music]

Lip balm.

And this is Carmex and to be honest

it's the only thing that really works for me.

We are gonna get onto the fun bit

and we're gonna do my date night look.

So I normally keep my makeup quite natural.

Charlotte Tilbury Foundation.

So when I was in the group Little Mix

we had about four hours for glam.

We only had one makeup artist so if you went first

then you had to wait a whole hour or whatever

with your face literally just melting off.

It's definitely sad

not having my sisters around me all the time

and they're literally just on the other side of the phone

and we are so tight and yeah, I'm so lucky to have that.

It feels slightly surreal to be a solo artist.

I mean, everything is all of a sudden all about you.

I think the moment where it first struck me

was when the video for Don't Say Love

I walked on set and everyone was there just for me

and I was just like, girl, you better let this sink in

'cause this is just incredible.

Pat McGrath concealers.

[gentle music]

Feels incredible knowing that Don't Say Love

is finally in the world

and the reception's been incredible,

better than I could have ever imagined.

The songwriting process has been wicked.

I think to be able to walk into a room

and just say whatever's on my heart and say whatever I feel

and not have to compromise on that is pretty incredible.

And I really got to express what was on my heart

and what was weighing heavy on my chest.

I got to express that in Don't Say Love.

I think what's exciting is this is just the beginning.

Like there is just so much to come.

So I'm gonna use some of the

Charlotte Tilbury cream bronzer.

Cream blush.

My date nights normally consists of

just like a nice restaurant.

We're foodies, me and my husband.

Me and my husband.

That sounds good.

[gentle music]

I to apply my brush not too close

to the inside of my face.

Just kind of like on the outside of the T-zone.

Fenty highlighter,

which I'm gonna use a little bit of just on my cheek bones.

[gentle music]

Rihanna is definitely somebody that I look up to.

Rihanna's used her platform to try and make a change,

like is such an inspiring thing

and something that I've always wanted to do

I think even from the beginning of my career.

I have this platform, why do I not use it for good?

And that was why it was so important for me

to start The Black Fund as we're a foundation

that is almost like a helping hand

to other black charities out there

that are already doing incredible work.

This is Refy.

My brows are really thick, but I love it.

To be honest, I get them done maybe once a month

'cause I like them to grow out.

Kind of diggin' this whole wild brow thing, not gonna lie.

[gentle music]

On stage gloss is generally a no-no

because hair, things getting into it,

more likely to just spread across your face

and yeah, we don't want that.

So yeah, matte is definitely good for stage.

This is just like a sort of natural color.

[gentle music]

We are gonna set the makeup

and also it's quite hydrating facial mist as well.

And this is Dr. Barbara Sturm.

So I'm all done for my date night with my husband.

We're gonna have a good time and this has been amazing.

Thank you.
