Hey, y'all it's Storm Reid here.

Today, I will be taking you guys through my skincare routine

and my sometimes makeup, no makeup look.

The first step is cleanser, of course,

I use the Tatcha Rice Wash.

[mellow music continues]

My skin is, I think, combination, but more on the dry side.

I like to use a lot of moisturizer,

so first, I go in with the Dr. Barbara Sturm,

a Hyaluronic Serum.

Also, let's just point it out now,

my nail is broken.

You know, things happen

and you just have to go with the flow.

Two or three drops.

When I'm on set,

my skin tends to get congested and I am prone to breakouts,

like a lot of teenagers out there.

So when I am not on set,

I make sure that my skin care routine is very consistent.

I am very liberal with my products,

just to make sure that I'm always glowing.

I have had to learn over the years

that a breakout doesn't define you.

And yes, they're annoying,

and yes, we wish we didn't get 'em, but they're normal.

So next I use the Tatcha, the Dewy Skin cream,

only moisturizer I will use.

It is great.

It smells great.

My mom also told me to put moisturizer on your neck.

I think your neck ages faster than your face.

My mom has the most gorgeous skin ever,

and she looks like she's 25.

So when she tells me to do something with my skin,

I'm listening, because I hope I look like her

when I have two kids that are basically very grown. [laughs]

I go in with the Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops,

'cause I like to be glowy.

I love a good compliment,

that's like, Oh my God, your skin looks so good.

Oh, you're glowing.

We love that for me.

Two drops.

I am always on TikTok.

I am always on social media,

following the the latest beauty trends

and beauty influencers

and trying to find new products.

But that got me in trouble,

because I think I was trying so many things

that my skin didn't know what to get used to.

So I was breaking out.

So I kind of have scaled back.

I am now gonna go in

with the Supergoop! Glowscreen sunscreen.

Another thing that my mom says I need to do.

We need sunscreen every day.

During the pandemic I discovered

that I needed to move my body,

just for my mental health.

So I'm always trying to go outside, go for a walk,

exercise, dance.

That keeps me feeling good,

it keeps me feeling sane,

and that's a part of my wellness routine.

Drinking water will do your skin wonders.

Water helps internal and external.

We're going to go in with brows.

Start by brushing my brows.

I wish I had the Zendaya, Zoe Kravitz eyebrow.

I just wasn't blessed with thick eyebrows.

[mellow music]

I am currently using the Maybelline

Instant Age Rewind Perfector 4 in 1,

that actually makes me feel like

I'm not wearing a heavy foundation,

kind of just like a moisturizer.

So I just put a little bit on my hand.

I go in with my wet beauty blender

and I just take that color

and dab it into my face.

It's been a journey but I think brands

are doing a great job now,

of trying to be more inclusive of all skin tones.

I'm using the Pat McGrath Labs.

So I just do one, two, three.

I have always been obsessed with makeup.

I remember getting allowance

or getting money from the tooth fairy,

and my mom taking me to the store.

And at the store they used to have the,

I don't know what they're called,

but they come in a little circle box

and they're the lip glosses

that are grape and cotton candy and banana flavor,

the little roll on lip glosses.

And I was obsessed, I had them all.

I think for me, makeup is a form of self expression

and it started through lip gloss.

Gonna go in with the Westman Atelier blush.

I kind of like go up.

I think when I was seeing blush,

when I was little it would just be right on the cheeks.

And I don't love that look.

[mellow music continues]

When I was shooting A Wrinkle In Time,

our makeup head, I think she really helped me

with the journey of understanding that makeup is to enhance

rather than to cover up.

Makeup is supposed to be used to make you feel good.

I am going to go in with the Glowish Huda Beauty.

And when I'm doing my own makeup,

I don't really like to contour much,

so I kind of use this

to bring a little bit of color back to my face.

[mellow music]

On Euphoria, obviously we have amazing,

incredible makeup looks.

I think we kind of changed the landscape

with how makeup was viewed on TV shows.

My character specifically hasn't had her makeup moment yet.

I don't think she's going to enter season three, episode one

with a whole bunch of glitter.

I think we're gonna have to take some time to get there.

So it'll be interesting to see the makeup journey of Gia.

My favorite makeup looks on the show have to go to Maddy.

'Cause Maddy is a girl that is going to do

that wing eyeliner, honey,

and I am a wing eyeliner girl,

and she just has mastered the wing.

This season, she had a wing that was bedazzled

and I was living.

I was living for it.

So next we are going to attempt,

I'm gonna make that clear,

we're gonna attempt a little wing.

[mellow music]

I just make sure the lid line [laughs] is good.

Not too thick, but not too thin,

we wanna be able to see it.

Now [sighs] we're gonna do our wing.

We're just gonna, you know, [inhales]

take a deep breath. [laughs]

My plan of action [chuckles]

is to just create a line to where I already made the line

and then fill the wing in.

Wait, did I just do it?

Oh my God!

[mellow music]

Not perfect, but you get the point.

I'm proud of myself.

Gonna go in with just a little bit more concealer.

Last year, I went to my first Met Gala

and I was so nervous.

There was a lot that had to go in with glam that day,

'cause I had chopped my hair off that morning

and dyed it blonde.

It came out beautiful, I loved it.

But I was so nervous, 'cause you know,

chopping your hair off is a big deal,

and I owe it all to Zoe Kravitz,

'cause I was like, her hair is beautiful,

and I wanna do that.

Beauty and makeup and everything that goes into glam

is about making yourself feel comfortable

and not conforming,

and you going outside in the world and feeling good,

and I felt like a princess that night.

My whole glam squad and everybody that was around me

made me feel so empowered and so beautiful.

So even though I was terrified the entire night,

I felt really pretty.

The most exciting part of the night for me,

I got to sit at the table with Frank Ocean

and I love Frank Ocean.

I use the Maybelline Curl Bounce Colossal mascara.

I've worked with a lot of incredible women.

Miss Oprah told me when I was,

when we were filming A Wrinkle In Time,

to not waste energy on the things you can't change in life,

when you could be using that energy

on something else positive in your life.

And that's really helped me just, you know,

stay positive and, and know that

things are out of your control,

but if you put good vibes out into the universe,

if you try to put one foot in front of the other,

then, some days are hard,

some days are gonna be difficult,

but you're gonna be able to get through it.

I use the Maybelline Brow

Ultra Slim brown eyebrow pencil for my lip.

[mellow music]

A lot of people shade their lip in

but I just blot my lips together.

I go in with my Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask

and I'm a rule breaker.

So even though it's a lip sleeping mask,

I just use it as a lip gloss.

So I'm using the vanilla one,

they have so many different flavors.

They're so great.

[mellow music]

I don't wash my hair too often.

I don't believe in that, it makes your hair dry.

[laughs] But I try to wash my hair at least once a week.

I change my hairstyle all the time,

so I did have a blonde pixie cut for a while.

And then I started to miss the inches,

as I like to call 'em, [laughs]

so I added some extensions in my hair and it's really long.

It's down to my waist, you can't see it all.

I saw a picture of Rihanna,

when she was in her, you know, pixie cut days,

and her pixie cut was pink.

So if I ever go back to my really short hair,

I think I'm gonna do it pink.

All right, y'all, this is the final look,

my makeup, no makeup look.

I had so much fun.

I will see you guys soon.

Bye.
